I hear you - its tough actually caring about cars and shopping for one these days. We bought our Forester pretty much because it was the only decent SUV with a manual transmission - Wish we could have gotten the turbo with manual but they dont make it.

I havent done the Cord with them but have done quite a few of the other rides. They will load up your GPS for you and typically give a quick powerpoint style overview of the route as well. I have always been impressed with RallyConnex

YUP, my Saabaru is just about to turn over 350,000km For cheap and reliable look for Nissan, or Mazda, you get Japanese reliability with out the ridiculous 0% depreciation that Honda and Toyota seem to have.

I dropped it off this morning at St Onge with John, he ran the old Machine Racing shop and a lot of his guys came with him. They did look up the old St Onge work order and it was actually 2 years ago and not last fall as I thought I remembered. This would mean an extra 10k or so on the engine...
