yeah, I know. The dealer made it sound like that's what they usually do when they buy up bikes. I would obviously never take a non-certified cheque when selling privately to another person, but just wondering if others have dealt with dealers before, and if they are good for their word.

This guy was appalled you offered him 2800 on a 250 with 43000 kms? delusional, and probably not worth dealing with. That 2nd ad is much more reasonable.
