I met GP Bikes at the March show while looking for a helmet, jacket, gloves, etc. After a detailed consultation with the helmet rep, I ended up with a perfect fitting HJC. The rep made the points that HJC was a competent helmet and while the ventilation was better on the Shoei and Bell, the fit to my head, comfort and sight lines should prevail. I have put the HJC to good use and he was right. -Similar process in selecting a jacket. I told the rep I was on a tight budget but I was also flexible. She took the time to explain the pros/cons to each of the jackets I tried. I ended up with a Scorpion that was on sale for $129. Like the helmet, I'm delighted with this purchase. Ditto for the gloves and cover.
I'm sure there are other good retails, but my experiences with GP Bikes was exceptional. -Great advice and I ended up w/ great gear within my budget. I want to share this experience and respectfully suggest to all that you consider them for you riding needs this year.
