Cataract lens replacement. Sucks getting old, but stuff is getting better and better, and sounds like less expensive, as well.

Left eye is done, right is in a couple of days. It’s weird being able to read book titles across the room with that eye, but no longer be able to read the book. Right eye will be trifocal. Supposedly, I will be able to read the dashboard. There wasn’t any pain really just pretty lights on...

Snowblower runs without leaking. Only thing now is the connector for the wire that makes the thing blow keeps vibrating off. I’ve temporarily fixed it with duct tape. Might try some blue loctite. I’m not sure why it wasn’t vibrating off before.

I messed up the float bowl o ring in the snowblower. Couldn’t find one in the snowstorm at Home Depot, where I bought it, or CT, so I’m trying some gasket maker on it. Wish me luck. Will check for the appropriate gasket tomorrow at another place, if the weather permits.

Thirty cent spread here, but it gets updated less than regular. $1.37.9 is from ten a.m. Regular right now is 1.06.9 at Shell where CAA gets three cents off. For regular I find that the price drops about ten cents from morning until night. Premium I normally put in a gas can after running...

I had a chance to buy one in Ottawa, brand new previous model for ~ half price. A friend talked me out of it. It was about six months before GP Bikes became a dealer. The problem at the time, would be sitting in your garage, staring at your beautiful bike, while you were waiting on parts.

I watched the Wrecking Crew a month ago. Elke Sommer, Sharon Tate, Nancy Kwan, and Tina Louise, not bad. I like Lewis better, but Martin proved that he could act.

I’m rereading The Old Man’s War series. There’s a new book in the series coming out. Prices for books are messed up. The paperback in the series I’m reading now was eight dollars Canadian. The new one is twenty-six dollars Canadian.
