Just watching CNN and for the first time I saw video of the girl getting shot. You see the gun go off and she falls back.
Maybe I'm a horrible person but seeing some redneck hooligan magat get killed did not really bother me.

Yes. I think she did Iraq. You would think that a soldier would be aware of what going thru a locked door means.
No sympathy.
 
They either need Trump or Russia to blame for their failures as elected official serving the public. Nothing happens to people in power. It is a distraction, political theatre. He will never be impeached.

I agree except for the last sentence. Yes, it is political theatre. That often contains plot twists. I suspect it withers away but I wouldn't put money either way.

I'm in the Bay Area at the moment and there a 600 Covid deaths a day down here.

Vaccine distribution has slowed down from 4 million to only 1 million doses a week to California. There are lots of drive through centres available but spaces are idle as there is no product. Public Health think it will be year end before everyone who wants vaccinated can get vaccinated. They are also getting around 20% less coverage as it looks like they typically get 4 shots out of every vile instead of 5.

Wouldn't it make more sense to put this time, money and effort into improving the vaccine supply chain, or is taking a pragmatic approach completely out of touch in modern reality. Even if they impeach Trump (they won't) but so what. He's already gone.

After that what's next? Is #metoo going to go after Joe and impeach him for groping women? "Hey, look over here !!!"

IMO, Trump impeachment would be more about showing politicians that they are not untouchable and their actions can have negative personal consequences. A conviction could prevent the transfer of millions of taxpayer dollars to trump.

As we learned from The Last Jedi, no one's ever really gone. I definitely don't trust that Trump has permanently exited politics - impeachment would be a nice safe layer of dirt over the smoldering embers

Doubt it, if you support him you likely support the theory that the establishment did him dirty. Dollars will flow.
