So Suzuki just sent me a recall notice for the R/R on my bike.

What is a reputable dealership to get the work done? I usually go to Fawaz but I don't think that'll work. I know Suzuki of Newmarket is known for **** ups. I'm hoping to get my bike in and out the same day and not have some stupidity like 4 week parts waiting time.

What year and model is your bike?
What was the reason for the recall?
Other might want to know this info.

2008 GSX-R750. Recall is pretty much for almost all of their 2008-2010 models (Google it). This is not the same recall as the first R/R recall.

I just got my R/R recall notice. Is there a standard method of the dealer ordering in part, then you bring in the bike? No F'n way are they parking it for a week over nothing.

That's why I'm worried to. Don't want to lose a track day because these guys are bad at planning.

Id id a quick google search and it seems the front brake master cylinder is recalled on a lot of bikes going back to 2006.
I am have to find out if the recall covers the 2006-2007 GSXR 600's also for the RR recall.

I haven't had any problems with service at Brampton Powersports, but I aim for winter for significant work and do the periodic maintenance throughout the riding season myself. If you can get them to order the parts in advance and schedule the service it might be a quick in and out trip, but at this time of year the dealerships are likely all ramping up the new bike prep to deliver the bikes purchased over the winter, and I'm pretty sure they'll be more keen to make new customers happy.

Most certainly not SON. Do a search out here and you will see how bad they are. I speak from experience.

My local dealer does the warranty while I wait. If your local dealer will not, I would call Suzuki Canada and complain.

I received the recall, I already sold the bike. I am just happy to share :)

St Onge recreation in Barrie has a good service department. Also +1 for Asselstines if they're closer.

Snowcity was good for my last recall. You call to let them know you have a recall and they order parts then call you when it's in. I was in there a total of 40 mins.

+1 for snow city. Good techs and great service

Had the rectifier recall done on my ride a couple of weeks ago. Called Snow City and make arrangements for them to get the part in and call me when I could bring in the bike for the repair. Was in and out in 90 minutes.

I did a recall on my Suzuki at Snow city. No complaints. The only thing I was annoyed at was the tech adjusted my bike to his riding. Even though he's just testing it for a few minutes & I'd be doing most of the riding. But hey better he be comfortable & not crash my bike than having small adjustments.

It was a clean job. I'd recommend
