How does this Hyosung GT 250 look?

Rust spots inside the gas tank before season one was done. New in April, rusting by August.

Junk bikes

funny that you say that. That's a problem I've heard some people have, may have been with the older models, but mines a 2008 and not 1 spot of rust on it. And I leave it in the rain. My friends cbr 250 has rust all over the handle bars, his is a 2009. Guess it depends how you take care of it, or if it's a lemon on the paint job.

Lol at lemon - it was inside the tank that rust formed. Before you tell me I cracked the tank lining with the pump nozzle I will fess up that it was filled via plastic jerry can for every single fill up. Never even saw a pump.

Just like Hyundai was junk in the 80s, Hyosung needs to up their reliability. Until that big comeback comes I'd advise to stay away.

Hmm guess you can no longer say that you have "never heard of anyone that owned one not liking it"

Meme what year was the bike with the rusting tank? I know you said new in april rusted by August. but what year? was it an "older model" or is it still an issue?

lol, he talks cosmetics, not motor issues. mine didn't rust from inside the tank and i slam that pump in everytime. But I guess technically you're right. But the people that talk **** about the motor never owned one.

what year was your model? how was the bike other then the rusting? anything else fail?

If you ask me, a well tuned carb is a thing of beauty. Many fi bikes have issues with mapping, throttle glitches, etc. Don't get me wrong, my last two bikes have fi and I like it, but there's nothing wrong with carbs either.
The key to carbs is proper fuel storage, regular maintainence, and proper synching if multi-carbed.

Real bikes have carbs and points.

;)

lol....you kids and your FI....

Next up are electric bikes
