Anyone else see 3 down pipes in the latest teaser?

Ok, I'm not crazy, it may be a three to one, we can't see the fourth downpipe, but the junction is triangular, not square, which suggest a triple.
This would make this bike lighter and narrower than the big power I4s.

This also explains the H2 name, the original H2 was a triple 750. It also killed a lot of people with a 75hp engine, in a frame made of some sort of pasta and a single disc front "brake".

I would bet your left it's a triple. Has to be. It will have lower red line than typical I4 and bucket loads of torque in midrange. With a good hit up top. And no slouch off idle to boot.:p

Those rumoured power figures are just stupid. Do these people even know what 295hp would be like on a bike or are they just making **** up.

The MotoGP Ducati is rumored to put out 280hp, but that's just naturally aspirated.

With traction control, I doubt anyone could access the full power unless they are on a long straight line. It's all insane on street tires and brakes.

Yeah exactly, I'm not saying they couldn't make it, but it's just insane and they won't do it. MotoGP bikes can barely handle the power they have, they have a world of electronics, even going so far as to map their track position with GPS and change the engine mapping as they move around.

I'd bet anyone a round that this bike will end up in the dealer with around 160bhp-180bhp :) Maybe they will have a 'Race' version with more.

for the non-R, the target is BMW's 200hp. But , BMW wasn't stupid enough to sell that engine without a huge number of electronic nannies.
Back when Chrylser released the first Viper, they didn't feel the need for TC or ABS, and a LOT of Viper owners got killed.

latest teaser..it got wings.

I think my slightly(?) rounded shape would nullify any benefit wings/spoilers could be expected provide :D

This is not going to be a mass-market appliance. It's gonna be expensive.

I am starting to like what I'm seeing ... must ... resist ...

No offence, but I would trust the Kawasaki mammoth engineers, that they wouldn't add it just as a fluff expensive to replace should you lay it down on the way to the Forks ...

Wings were tried in the past by Ducati in racing to hold down the front end, the problem is that down force is weak below 150 mph and then you have this added force in fast cornering. Bad experiment. They were then adapted to redirect cooling air extraction, then they just took them off. Aero aids like this on road bikes or cars is a gimmick.
