New GSXR Scam on Kijiji?

Judging by the headlight I would say its a K8, but you're right about the exhaust. Im guessing the bike has been wrecked. Replaced fairings, exhaust, paint on the tank looks dull and poorly done and the Suzuki emblems are crooked. Probably not really a scam but a bike I would avoid, although I may be wrong.
 
I didn't even notice the tank paint until you mentioned it. I'm tempted to inquire JUST to see what he says this "one thing" is lol
 
I bet a donut that the "one thing" involves clearing a lien
 
It's possible to fit k8 fairing to a k6-7. But who the hell knows what it's been thru. And for $6k???? LOL

That looks like a 06/07? Unless he swapped out the exhaust header and exhaust for a stock K7? Don't know what that would have gained him. Also his statement "There is one thing u will need to do. Just call me and I will explain. Thanks" is super suspicious lol. Is this ad legit?

The exhaust is stock from a '06 or '07, but the passenger peg shows the hanger which is from an '08, or maybe an '09. I'm not sure what year the 600's used black passenger pegs, but 750's used chrome / silver until 2009 when they started using black pegs.
 
Why would you go to a K7 exhaust though, those things include the cat! I'll bite the bullet and email him hahaha

The '06 / '07 exhaust is just 'bolt on'. The '08 + is welded to the cat which is welded to the header. i.e. harder / more time consuming to repair.
The bike in question was likely layed down on it's right side. That replacement the owner used is the cheapet 'fix'.

Called him - got his voicemail. Sounds like a pretty nice guy actually. It could still be a legit bike and the poster is just bad at selling his ****. Don't discount based on the post until you see the bike in person.
