My Rant.

why would you catch up to him and antagonize him more?

This really depends.

If I see the person turning into a parking lot or something, I'm going after them. They can get a great long speech from me about how I don't want to be killed by some ****ing retard who can't drive. They've all apologized (or just look piss scared).

If they aren't, I split or do whatever I can to GET AWAY from them. I find that drivers, even some of my family members, tend to use cages/cars like internet anonymity and cars will always wreck riders a new one in any brute force fight.

I was on the qew and some idiots thought it would be interesting if they kept throwing stuff at me. Through the sunroof of their car. (it was somewhere around Hamilton...)
I brake, they brake. I change lanes, they follow.
They were throwing handful of sunflower seeds and juice at me.
Holy **** that is making me want to go smash something right now.
WTF kind of person would do that to a motorcycle on the ****ing highway? Our species is ****ing doomed.

You're only now realizing we're doomed?

You're only now realizing we're doomed?
Hahaha...yeah.
I've never met a person who is rude or stupid. No one i've known has ever died or been treated unfairly by life. Both my current wives look like porn stars (but with real boobs), i make 7 figures a year, everyone is always super nice to me- even on the internet, and no one had cut me off in traffic till this week.
But after reading this reading these guys stories....
Man...I JUST realized...We are doomed.

Smartass
:lmao:

Most people who cut into my lane and see that they cut into my lane feel sorry and give me a sorry sign.
.

Back to the original rant...
Hey Low Rider.
Curious---what did the guy look like? What was he driving?
Guessing---was he an overweight sweaty white guy?

My sarcasm detector might be broken. I read half of the paragraph only to realize it was sarcasm

Yea... Some Hamilton kids in an old, lowered jetta. Made me pretty angry, as well.
I don't like thinking its because they saw I was a girl... But who knows maybe it is. Either way, idiots everywhere. Doomed.

In my experience, don't waste your time trying to talk to the cager, three things could happen, the cager is bigger then you, you end up feeling like pu$$y and leave, but if you're like somepeople i know who are pretty much fearless if even it was a lion that walked out of the cage, then you might, just scare the driver off or most likely still have a useless back and forth argument, non productive.

The only thing that works is, any cager that cuts you off, ****** you off, let it go, if you can't back off, act like nothing happened, give the other cager space, let him think, you did not notice a thing, while to are furious inside your lid, follow the cager from a distance and swith lane to be in their blind spot, most of the time, the driver has no idea and end up going home or to where ever they were and park, you see them park, and continue to pass by, like nothing happened, make a U'ie, flip your plate, reach in your pocket for that God given gift to bikers called spark plug, take a piece, roll by flick it at the windshield, go home with a smile on your face, next day the driver won't WTF happened.

everthing else fails, no point in getting arugments, they lead to fights, road rage...atleast this way, you get your revenge, and you don't hurt the other person, or waist your time arguing or getting hurt by the cager trying to run you over, beat you etc.

This happens at least once daily, today on Parkside dr., lady sipping coffee decides to join me in the right lane, I was on the horn non stop but then she proceeded to turn right without signaling too, I'm sure that was deliberate. Man I was upset, had my kid with me too. I dunno folks, someone ought to *&^%$# these people up.

I've noticed that even tho there are idiot drivers out there when I'm in my car, there seem to be a hell of a lot more when I'm on my bike. It's like they have a hate-on for us. I had to take the wee-b-r to the shop on Saturday and had my dad follow me in his truck since I was going to leave it there. He was able to see first hand what us bikers go through. He was a great sweeper in the truck. lol A ton of people tried to push me out of the way/cut me off, etc but the two that were the worst were a woman who was directly beside me on the left, decided she wanted to be on the right side, where I was, and didn't even look. She starts moving over and I lay on the horn. Next thing I know, my dad is ****** and when we stop at the intersection he starts yelling at her, telling her she almost hit me and needs to watch where she's ****ing going, etc. Then a CAA flat bed truck with an Audi on the back is annoyed with traffic, again, I'm trying to make noise so he looks over and sees me right beside him. He doesn't see me of course and since I'm up by his door I try to speed up and get ahead but he does too. Anyway, long story short, he almost side swipes me as well but I manage to slow down enough and let him in front, only to have him slam on the brakes. I almost ate the end of his flat bed.

Long story short, I miss my bike and can't wait to get on it again. ;)

It's frustrating and seems to be happening weekly. I had a dude pass me and cut me off in my own lane when I was already doing 20 over on Dupont last week :/ I usually just let them pass but sometimes I could get pretty stubborn and burn ahead of them. Weird how driving can temporarily change ones usually patient personality.

Yes, slow down,/try to get away safely.

A motorcycle can out accelerate a car. It can't necessarily out break one.

Anyways.. It is what it is.

Just be safe and smart out there.

And did you remember the license plate, and report them? I would. That sort of dangerous behaviour deserves a call or letter from Roadwatch.

This whole dont do anything and just bottle it in dont friggin works....Those are the people who in the end up snap and go on a killing spree...

I feel much better when i get to express right there and then how i feel about an idiot on the road, whether its by laying on the horn or flipping them off....

I prefer the passive-aggressive route; run a camera and post it on the 'net. If I'm particularly hacked off then I can always hand the video to police. I'm considering doing just that to a guy who missed me by no more than 6 inches, and possibly somewhat less, when swerving around me on the 427 when I was doing 100 Kmh.

Are you sure he saw you? People cannot correct themselves if they haven't noticed their wrong doings. He was probably too busy sending that text to even notice "little ol' Rob"

That's because the best thing to do is NOT to bottle it up: you're supposed to let it go... practice the art of Zen, bro.

I find that motorcyclists get more ****** at other drivers, when those drivers commit some traffic offense/risky maneuver - moreso than they would if they were in a car. This is understandable, since any incident is MUCH more dangerous to the rider than the driver, HOWEVER:

The rider must always be conscious of the fact that it is his or her choice to ride, and by doing so the rider must choose to accept this elevated risk, without inflicting the burden onto others.
