I fixed my squealy brakes it seems. Removed rotors, sanded lightly on flat surface, both sides, cleaned with brake cleaner, reinstalled. Removed brake pads, sanded lightly, cleaned with brake cleaner, re-installed. Re-centred both calipers by eye. Went out and did a proper bed-in procedure. They seem to be...ok..now. Did 40k on Saturday and they seemed to hold up. Time will tell!!
 
Should clarify that I had squeaky bike problems too. The very helpful staff at freewheel cycle in dundas did everything they could to save my pads, sanded, buffed, rubbed monkey blood on them (I may be making some or all of that up). In the end I just threw new pads at it and while I've only bedded them in they seem to be all good. At 25 bucks a set its not even worth screwing with.

So who's coming out on wednesday!?!

Anyone able to do hydro cut this week? Preferably in the morning meeting at 9am.

For some reason it felt like I only had to climb up half of what I went down on. Usually its the other way around.

Synchronized DIVING..we were overjoyed at our glorious bronze medal in this most historic and important event..we sprayed ourselves with our Shandy's..and then things got REALLY crazy...

Switching gears slightly..can someone explain to me how a 16 year old girl can beat the best male swimmers in the world?

Bah plans changed and I got a call for work for tomorrow so I'm probably a write off for the rest of the week. No plans for the long weekend tho and would be very interested in checking out the hydro cut! Let me know

Planning a ride at Dundas Valley on Friday 24th meeting at the Lion, s club pool off Jerseyville Rd for a 9:30 AM start. We plan to do all the single track at the east end and 2 new single track sections. Let me know if you can join us.

FYI: We had six people show for today's ride. What an awesome group of all ages. I usually post in multiple forums and Facebook so in case you don't see much response here we usually get at least 4-6 people. Great seeing you today outsidegirl...:D

Some people WORK! :-D Can you do this on a weekend?!?!?

On a side note, I'm riding Mont Ste. Anne next weekend..anyone got any tips??
