So while I was banned...

South Windsor, right near St. Clair college, went to Massey High School.

Thats a sweet bike you picked up there, I'm very jealous of the suspension and luggage over my Ninja. Great motor for the street on these things. Awesome useable low end power coming from a 250.

I had an 07 Ninja 650 before the 250 and I loved the engine in it. It was such a great bike, the versys is just adding to everything I loved about the 650. Looking forward to some long days on this one.

Nah,
They did leave me a few cold ones in the Ban Land fridge.
That was me the last time I was there, hope you left me some coronas. Nice ride, congrats

Congrats on getting the only bike uglier than mine.
It should be a sweet ride for two-up. What's the GVWR on it?

I had too many infractions for insulting Sushii. The Ducati thread killed me.

hahaha. You're alot like me then but how can we resist, buddy crashes his 250 every other month and wants a Ducati...
Still keeping the lil Ninja?

I know...we need a support group or something. Otherwise Sushii will have the whole place banned with another classic thread.
I really want to keep the 250, but I can only keep one bike for now :(

It would be interesting to hear how that R1 shock works out. The stock shock is crap.

From what I read on the versys forum it seems to be the cats meow. You need to have a way to lift the back end off the ground or it's not worth doing yourself. Some members got pretty creative creating lift contraptions for getting that back end up in the air. Thankfully the work's been done on mine, I just have to find the sweet spot for myself.

If it's anything like the Ninja 650R or ER-6n you just pop it up on a rear stand, pop the caps off the swingarm pivot, run a piece of conduit through it, put a truck jack-stand under either side of the conduit, then lower it down onto the stands.

Not sure because the Versys has a different swing arm then the 650 & ER-6N but the fitting must be the same. They share so many of the same parts. To be honest I didn't really study how the shock looked as it was already installed. I will again once I take delivery. Here's a 10,000km review of one of the first guys to do it. http://www.kawasakiversys.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14063&highlight=R1+shock
