I pulled into the gas station and put my credit card into the reader. In my mirror I saw the guy stop at the pump behind me. I turned my body enough so I could make eye contact with him and waved (at this point I'm already filling my tank while sitting on my bike). He saw me, but didn't communicate anything back. About 30 seconds after I had waved, I heard him yelling "I don't want to pay inside, I said I don't want to pay inside". By now I was done filling my tank, and so was he. He started his bike, and while riding past me looked at me and said "Motherf*cker".

Confused, I went inside to the cash register and asked what had happened because if he had left without paying I was going to foot his bill so the owners wouldn't lose out. According to the people at the register, after I had waved and turned around, he aggressively stuck his middle finger at me while filling his tank. They didn't say anything about him not paying so I don't know who he was yelling at. Obviously nobody heard him call me a "motherf*cker" as he was riding out of the lot.

Guys like these give motorcyclists such bad names.

If you see this guy, do me a favour and sucker punch him.

What a jerkoff.

It's gtam, no surprise...

Just witnessing something like this would make most dudes here upset at the very least... but they try to be funny/witty on the board...

I've seen some messed up stuff in my time, and I still don't have an answer.
If he stayed around, you could have try some Gandhi or Buddhist approach, change the world by helping one person... but jerk took of... with his own issues...

My family owns a gas station..... I think I can say that I know the business.
And just as a side note here, whatever business it is "EVERYWHERE", there is not a lot of profit.

If the OP is generous enough to fork out $10 worth gas for another rider for whatever reason, I think ppl should appreciate it for sharing the road with such quality people, instead of laughing at it.

After all, it's not about how much cash you have in your pocket, but how generous you feel with that cash. I have friends, who live in 10MIL+ houses, but wouldn't spare a penny for any sorts of situation like that.

I still don't see what type of bike OP was riding.
If he rides a cruiser, then the guy thoroughly described in post #1 might just have a huge hate for cruisers.

It's still odd though. Sportbikes vs cruisers isn't an actual war and I am surprised the guy called the OP a motherlover and flipped him the bird.
You have to be a complete tard full of anger to be able to do that to someone you have never met or spoken to.
 
I dont want to be the inevitable GTAMer that criticizes the OP when he's trying to get some support, so please take this with a grain of salt, but the whole story seems a bit one sided

Are you sure you didnt cut the guy off or something previously. I had a guy on Sunday pass me in my own lane and wave at me while he was doing it. I'm just saying, maybe you slighted him somehow and didnt realize it?

Jesus, don't be giving people ideas. Some posts are painful enough to just read, never mind the horror of having it poorly narrated.

A while ago, maybe a month or two, someone posted here about seeing some rider pushing his bike, so he turned around (in his car) and offered to help. The rider got really abusive to the OP and his wife. Maybe the same guy?

And I get you're trying to blow steam. I can't believe ppl on this thread would actually think you're serious about sucker punching a guy! I mean, COME ON REALLY? Obviously you're joking. And I can't believe you're getting hassled b/c you planned to do something NICE - like pay a jerk's bill, oh wooooow a whole 10 bucks. Normally ppl would just f*** off, and only care about themselves. I think it's rare and awesome you considered doing that (although the dude didn't deserve it - but I know you were doing it just to help out the gas station). Anyway - let's go riding soon? I promise I won't flip you one ;p
