So if anybody wants to buy a brand new 2002 ex-500, I'll let it go for 4,000. Hell of a deal!

If you did all that on the stock seat you must have an *** made of titanium and a lack of nerve endings in your nether regions.

Congrats, did that on my Kat too, but I was let down it locked up rather than roll over.
Did it roll over to zero or stick at 99999?

Nice to know my bike has the potential to last that long. =p

Are all those yours?

sweet, did u have to rebuild the engine or anything?

Royson - Congrats! And I thought hitting 20,000 over the weekend was something. It goes to show that if you take care of a 500R it will pay you back in spades.

Lol, no. It got oil changes every 5k with the cheapest Dino oil on the shelf.

Other then that, flushed the coolant, new brakes, tires, a new ignition switch and a head light. Checked the valves once and they were fine.

Bike runs like the day I got it.

Oh, and I got it in 2006. If that's relevant.

Other than the ignition switch, it's never let me down. I'll probably ride it for a couple more years. Can't beat being paid off and getting 60mpg. Think next up is a BMW.
