Ontario GTA photo tag - Picture of The Year 2011
As I promised earlier, the photos entered into the "Ontario GTA photo tag - Picture of The Year 2011" are on display: http://gta2011contest.bearcare.ca/
If you would like to participate please send your photo, the location, the date it was taken and your handle to gta2011contest@gmail.com
I'll try to keep it up to date just like IXFe keeps the map in top shape.
Prizes so far: 2 x $5 DQ gift card. If you feel you'd like to contribute to the prize pool please let me know!
Update: $5 Tim Hortons card was offered for the prize pool by iav8

New: I blew so much time looking for that pool that the new tag has to be on the way home...
Oh man... what a trial getting home! Note to self: resurfacing in progress on the 400... take side routes!
I actually had a different angle showing the multiple Auto dealers on this Drive. Unfortunately, you couldn't read the "Honda" and "Toyota" signs in the distance so you are stuck with this image...BTW the windmill that you see is visible in google streetview; this Acura dealer appears under construction in google street view. I have a craving for Maple syrup... I can't wait for breakfast. (Anyone slow on the uptake should note that "Maple" is a serious hint.)
Oh how I wish I had my good camera and tripod with that full moon in the sky!

Ontario GTA Photo Tag Week-in-review (July 8 to July 14)
It was another great riding week with some really hot days and lots of sunshine. 22 tags were recorded (and a few double-tagged spots too!), the third busiest week this year!
iav8 gets busy with three tags to climb from 3rd to share 'numero uno' with last week's solo top-dog, A.K.
7up, coming back off an injury, arm-wrestling a compound mitre saw, sits alone in 3rd spot.
scrammts, slowpoke and IXFe are tied for 4th by reeling in 1, 3,and 4 tags respectively.
7th spot is shared between silverbullet132 with a pair of tags and a hard-charging giesen who added 4 tags this week to the 5 he got last week.
just curious tags twice again in his 2nd week on GTA Photo Tag to rocket his CBR from T14 to solo 11th this week.
rafiki doubles her tag count with one tag this week to move into T15 from T18.
