We keep bashin cagers but what the eff is wrong with some riders?

i was just of the mavis ramp to 403 (west bound) doing around 90 (its an easy ramp). almost immediately as the ramp is finished and i looked to the left to check the lane to merge in. Some crazy a**hole on a red bike with black rims (couldnt make up what it was but looked like a liter bike) in a black t-shirt literally flies by me IN MY OWN LANE!!! (there was only one lane and this idiot flies by me. mustve been doing 200k at least cause by this time i was doing 120+.) Im not one of those people who have to follow every little rule and by no means im a stickler but as far as i was taught, you NEVER EVER pass another bike in their lane! So if anyone knows who this idiot is or if youre reading this, no one gives a flying rats a** if you wanna kill yourself but dont put everyone elses life in danger to make yourself feel like a bigboy! and no, opening the throttle doesnt make you a rider BRO. give that bike to any little kid who knows how to shift and they can all go fast! I can take a cager being stupid and not paying attention to bikers safety but when you see another "rider" pulling SH** like this is when your veins really start popping!!!:mad::mad::mad:
 
It is unfortunate that the type of people who like to go fast, do stupid and immature things and have a general disregard for others (including those within their own community) have an affinity for fast bikes. It is even more unfortunate that those types of riders stick out in the minds of cagers and the general public.

It makes life harder for the rest of us who are responsible and keep it to the track (or at least take it to deserted backroads). I have a special distaste for the wankers on harleys with obscene exhausts that are now helping to usher in all sorts of legislation against loud bikes.

I was totally agreeing with you until that statement. I'm probably one of the few people on here who doesn't agree with the "cager bashing".

I had a similar experience with someone on a motorcycle a few weeks ago. However, I was in my car and he cut into my lane. He was riding as though on a race track; not a public highway.

youre right. not all cagers. im talking about some though cause there are some cagers out there who see nothing but whats in front of them. and thank you for your ACTUAL, on topic reply. I dont understand people who come here and have nothing useful to say about the topic and just rant off.
 
I think in a nutshell (my opinion of course) that cager bashing comes down to fear or vulnerability.

How often do motorcycles result in a cagers death from doing something stupid? it happens but it is rare. Now how often does a cager result in a motorcyclists death from doing something stupid? Much more often sadly.

I've had cars pull a lot more stupid moves that could have killed me then motorcycles. It sticks in my head. The same as someone said previously that cagers remember the idiots among us I bet due to the frequency of almost being killed by a car sticks in most riders heads and is a source of anger.

Bubbles. why dont you say something that matches your age in the picture? People going stupid fast on the highway and passing you in your own lane is not safe or "cool". you stay "bad ***" and all "ghost rider like" and i hope wit and cuteness protects your organs if (god forbid) you go down but i dont want my bones as speed bumps for cars on the highway. so keep yout "tough talk" for your lawn chair Tim Hortons meet. now go high five your buddy that passed me and brag about how fast you guys can go.
 
The last time, as I recall, you posted a complaint, it also took place on a ramp. You then proceeded to follow the guy, get his plate, and spend your lunch break at a police station filing a complaint.

Yet, you admitted doing 120+ when the speed limit posted is 100.

Epitome of cool. Stop being a hypocrite, and just ride. It's dangerous, get over it, you share a road and not own it. I'd be more concerned about how raged you get. If you calm down, you might even enjoy riding.

Youre right, i was doing 120. but lets be honest, who here goes 100 in a 100 zone? youre criticizing me for doing 120? if you honestly do posted speed limit, i have no defense. cause otherwise youre saying its k to do whatever the hell anyone wants because someone was doing 20+ on the posted speed? im on a ramp, its one lane. you dont pass someone in the same lane, car or bike. i feel like im on a different planet where i have to defend myself for someone else pulling something obviously wrong. and this site is funny. if you post about going fast, some people bash you for going fast and being unsafe. if you talk about someone else going fast, people bash you for going too slow. so what is it? is this site just to bash every post? cause to me its pretty clear. im doing regular highway speed and someone else passes me in my lane. thats wrong and dangerous.
 
I'm very disappointed that you acknowledged I was right. I have nothing to counter with now. I do, however, agree with you that this site is funny. I would like to think that unless you had a post requesting information, or assistance in relation to something motorcycle related, your post will be trolled, and not taken seriously. That goes for complaints, observations, random posts about the weather, and so forth.

Everybody has their own crazy motorcycle experience story. I have more than I can remember. I do realize that most of those stories would not have happened had I been riding a car. However, I have a truckload of car stories too. The thing is, people don't post their stories and complaints about every single road incident that occurs. Well, some do, but nobody likes those people.

So ride with an air of cool, knowing you've survived yet another day. Cool guys don't look at explosions, they just walk away with their back turned to them. Similarily, cool guys don't vent at every life experience they've endured. Not bashing you personally, just making my time spent posting more enjoyable for me.
 
Buddy it's ok....no one is serious busting your chops. They are all just having a little fun and being playful. Blowing past you at 200+ is clearly wrong, as is passing in the lane like that.

You do know who "Officer Bubbles" is in real life right? Some azz of a cop that over reacts! Check him out on Youtube. I don't think "Officer Bubbles" in this case is serious; nor anyone else ribbing ya.
