That was unfortunate. Rossi was moving. Should be interesting if Stoner bounces back or gets all depressed.
Stoner did end Setes Gibernau's career by taking him out (a few years back) so he is familiar with racing incidents like this.

I feel for Simocelli, Spies , and Edwards. Would of been nice to see at least one of those guys up there.

OMG at Stoner's quote to Rossi
"your ambition outweighed your talent" LOL

I think he could've chosen better words to express himself, but thats my opinion.

I wonder if Rossi would have stuck the pass had the track not been wet.

I am a Rossi fan, but Stoner was right to be upset. In an interesting twist of irony, Stoner falls again because the Ducati loses the front.

My exact thoughts, I can't remember looking at a more exciting race - start to finish where anyone could have won it. It should rain every round, LOL.

While I was a bit bothered by Rossi's rookie-like enthusiasm (he would have passed him easier another corner or two and while I understand Stoner's anger, I do think he is over stating his own talents in some way by making that comment about Rossi.

It was a great race regardless.

Great race. Simoncelli's high-side was painful to watch. Lots of action 'til the end under less than desirable conditions.

When Casey's words were replayed to VR by way of the Italian TV announcers, Rossi's response was simply, "Perhaps he forgot who I am."

I thought the Rossi pass was too ambitious but the door was left open. Stoner was a little wide. I think if Rossi would have waited a few corners he might have won that race.

To bad for Marco it would have been nice to see him up there.

That is great! Rossi had the pace and would have been pretty tough for anyone to keep him behind them, to bad so many went down cause it would have been an even better race.

Looks like it will be a good rivalry between Stoner and Rossi again this year....
As for the apology being done with camera crews present, I bet Rossi can't go anywhere without a group of press or fans surrounding him at the GP events. One way or another the apology probably would've been captured on video. Besides he went right away after the race to do so, better than waiting and people speculating why he wouldn't have done so earlier.

I'm not saying he is, but Stoner always comes off as a whiny little **** even when he's in the right.

I think it's because they have only one choice : soft. That may have to do with it, but I don't know much more than that so I may be wrong.

They all went out on full rains (S comp) but the track was dry in a lot of places. Jerez Tarmac composition is highly abrasive.

Wasn't worth the time loss to come in for a tire change.

There is always a Bridgestone Tire report following every event.

Props to Casey for flipping it back on Rossie with his reply. Which was 100% accurate.
INVALID OPINION........you spelled rossi with an ie at the end, try again.

So.......Estoril started today, FP 1 completed already.
Honda's doing well, as is the trend lol
BUT Lorenzo and Rossi both in top 5 as well.
Anyone's thoughts on QP and Race Day?
I am hoping for clear conditions on both days, want to see how Rossi's fitness is with his shoulder and how he's getting along with the Ducati.
    Really happy for Simoncelli!!!!
Here's hoping for a good QP and Race!!!!
