jeez hes math is flawed...his calculation of the ZX's HP is only at the peak torque value...the fact that like most bikes the ZX10 makes way more if not double the hp over torque.

The math is clear..any hp or torque spec is multiplied by a factor of 5 for the 848.

Thats because side by side, sitting in a timmies parking lot, the 848 blows away the ZX10.
...just ask all the girls grouped around the white one.

ZX10= no girl multiplier
848= 5 girl multiplier

There are some pretty fast folks here.......some within a couple/few seconds of the lap record at some tracks. Since the 848 is slower than the best 600's, and 600's are a couple of seconds slower than a 1000 at tracks like Mosport some folks (on 1000's) wouldn't be too much slower than Hayden on the 848.....couple seconds maybe.
